Simply put Candidiasis is the commonest yeast infection and is a product from an overgrowth of yeast anywhere in the body.
There are a number species of these fungi which live on the surfaces of the human body. Under certain conditions, especially moist and warm areas, they can become so numerous they cause infections. These can include Paronychia – a nail-bed infection, Nappy (diaper) rash, Thrush, Vaginal rashes.
