Cosmetic Surgery for Men is on the rise in the UK with a 21 per cent growth in demand for male plastic surgery since 2009.

The UK was ranked 18th in the world for the total number of cosmetic surgery procedures carried out in 2009 – with 192,678 performed that year. The majority of plastic surgery procedures are carried out on women, but ten per cent of these were carried out on men.

Getting ahead in the job interview process – by coming across as younger and more energetic – and improving career prospects seem to be the motivation for many men getting cosmetic surgery.
