Liz Prosser has asked us to share this video link and information regarding the treatment of ostomate children. The new hospital video featuring the sigmoidoscopy and a flu shot complete with fully garbed hospital teams is now online. This video is a first shot direct online and will be tidied up and edited by lampeter uni’s team as soon as the term recommences next week. In the meantime we thought it important enough to get it to you as soon as possible in this state to give you an idea of the direction we are moving.
We had the full permission of the national health service (nhs) and the time and cooperation of a senior gastroenterologist from bronglais hospital – dr canavan is one of the most highly regarded in his field and moved from a top position in guy’s hospital in london to bring his family into a quieter environment also allowing him more time to concentrate on research.
